The fact that we passed on corner and receiver at the end of the first round says a lot about the faith our FO and CS have in these two to come in and contribute following their injuries last season, perhaps more so for Miller than Stuckey. While I was at first shocked by the Keller pick, if used properly he can be an enormous boost to our passing game. I'm sure they'll make a concerted effort to get him more involved with our QBs than Baker has been. We should have some versatility as well in 2 TE sets (Baker/Franks on running plays, Baker/Keller for the passing game), unless Baker is traded.

Interested to see where we go tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised to see us deal for another Day 2 pick tomorrow.

Well we just had 2 picks to work with, we needed a DE/OLB somewhere and we needed a playmaker at the offense.

CB, safety, and maybe WR can still be taken with our 3 final picks.

I see us getting a WR and maybe some secondary depth as well...

Absolutely. I just didn't see them trading up and losing a pick unless they didn't feel we have major holes at multiple positions. Late round picks tend to be picked for future potential, rather than immediate impact. If the FO felt we didn't have possible options at CB and WR right now, I doubt they move up the way they did.

    didnt mean jack shit.......

    1. obviously their weren't many good wrs as none went in first round
    2. We picked up dustin kelller who is basically a slot receiver.
    3. We had the 9th ranked pass defense last season and thats without kris jenkins pace and vernon gholston. Now we are getting back miller so how much more can we improve our secondary.

That's my point. A lot of people had CB listed as a major need leading up to the draft because they have zero faith in Miller being able to contribute. I'm simply saying that our CS seems to believe he will.

With Coles and Cotchery as solid recievers im fine with not getting another Wideout and wait for Stuckey to come along but as for Corner seems like we have a great corner in Revis but other then him its a bunch of Nickle corners and we didnt solve it in Free Agency so im assuming the Jets will draft a corner in Rd. 4 but i doubt the guy will come in and Play right away across from Revis but maybe Tangini know's something we dont for the Other CB slot.

i guess you missed the rest of my post. we had the 9th best pass defense without miller. we just drafted a pass rusher in gholston and picked up pace who is a pass rusher. so obviously our pass defense is better now then last year. this would lead our team to believe we dont need cb help. we also have miller coming back.. isnt that more straight forward
