they liked the vernon gholston pick and they also like the dustin kellen pick sayin he has the potential to be the next dallas clark
Time to go into hibernation till August...I can't stand all this he said, she said, good picks, bad picks bullshit. Peace.
What the hell does one thing have to do with the other? Both picks were spectacular. Both played extremely well. Both were key starters. One probably a pro bowler in the future. What the Hell did you want? Can not help it if the OL sucked and we still have the Herman baggage draft. You will ever be happy. Period.
Gholston was the clear pick, althoug you are kidding yourself if you don't think their are major question marks on him and his motor. Trading up for Dustin Keller at 30? I wanted an offensive weapon as bad as anybody but personally I like my TE's to be able to block. That is what seperates Dallas Clark from the elite TE's in the NFL. If Keller does turn out to be Clark then great, but did we really have to trade up for a one dimensional TE projected to go second round? I would have rather signed Utecht in the off season. B- to C+ at best. *prepares for a tirade from the homers *
Let's see, on day 1 we got the best pass rusher in the draft and the best receiver in the draft, who happens to be a tight end but is fast, tough, agile, and plays with tons of heart. We did well!
