We've all been there before. eating our favorite foods in our comfy chairs like we're getting ready to watch the super bowl. You fell off the couch when they announced Jeff Lageman. You couldn't sleep the night they took Johnny Mitchell. So put yourself in that chair now and think about what name, bottom line, that you want to hear called out with that 4th pick. Don't speculate who's already gone (except for Bush !). Who do you really want to see in Jet green ? For me it goes like this .. With the 4th Pick the Jets select Mario Williams.
The Jets have so many needs and there are so many good players available, that it's really hard to go wrong this year. However, with all the Cutler hype I'm a little concerned that they would try to reach for him at #4. I think that this would be a terrible pick. This kid simply has too many questions to risk a #4 pick on him. I would be very happy with D'Brick, Mario, Hawk or Ngata at #4.
from the University of Southern California, Quarterback Matthew "the fucking man" Leinart!.. guarantee you that Tagliabue announces it just like that too.
He won't be there. With the 4th pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, the New York Jets select Mario Williams, DE, NC St.
with the fourth pick, the new york jets select Anthony Fasano, Tight End Notre Dame. (just to continue our TE trend)
The Saints want Williams. Unless the Titans take Leinart, he's there for the green and white. I think Tenn is going with Uncle Rico or DBrick with their pick. Uncle Rico and McNair would work well together before Mcnair retires. You better adjust your mock draft, my man. Almost all of those guys you want are going at least a round earlier than you have them picked. Maroney and Ryans are going to be taken off the board by pick #25.
Johnnie "Lam" Jones - University of Texas! no... I'm fine with D'Brick, Williams or Hawk...all or any would be fine additions.
If we get Matt Leinart, here's the way it'll have to be announced: Tagliabue: "With the NY Jets' 4th pick, 29th pick, third round pick, next year's 1st round pick, the second and third round picks of 2008 and the sixth and seventh round picks of years 2009 and 2010, the Jets have moved up and select Matt Leinart."
"With the 4th selection in the 2006 NFL Draft the New York Jets select Vince Young, quarterback from the University of Texas. ...no Vince, the stage is this way...no...one step at a time...f**king forget it, Green Bay's now on the clock."
