Listening today it sounds like Chris Long to the Rams, Ryan to the Falcons, McFadden or to the Raiders, Dorsey to the Chiefs, Ghoulston to the Jets. Of course, everybody is likely lying.

That wouldn't be so bad.....Long or Gholston would be very nice. A team can never have to many good LB's.

I think the Falcons love Dorsey and would rather take Brohm or Flacco in the second than Ryan in round one. That means Gholston to the Chiefs, and the Jets stuck.

If Glenn Dorsey is available when the Falcons are on the clock...expect him to be the pick.

Trust me..Gholston will not be the pick. He is just not their type of player. He has no passion for football, he's not a leader, he takes plays off. This will NOT be the pick under any circumstances.

I really doubt that the Jets pass on Gholston if he's there at 6 and McFadden is gone. He could potentially be the rusher that we desperately need.

The whole game is decided at pick 2. If the Rams take Dorsey, then the Jets will get Mcfadden. If the Rams take Chris Long, then the Jets will be screwed. Why? Cause if the Rams take Dorsey, Ryan goes to Falcons, Raiders would take Chris Long, Kansas City would take Gholston or an OL and the Jets would get Mcfadden. If Chris Long goes 2, then Mdfadden goes to the Raiders.

    Barring no trades-

    Rams will take Chris Long
Atlanta will take Dorsey (no chance they take Ryan if Dorsey is there)
    Oakland will take McFadden
    KC will take Sed Ellis
J-E-T-S will take the overrated, work out warrior Gholston.

Assuming KC takes Gholston here's the options the jets have:

    1. Use Dorsey or Ryan as trade bait to trade back.
    2. Pick: Ryan if Atlanta picks Dorsey.
    3. Pick:

McKelvin - Best CB in the draft.
Clady - 2nd best OT in the draft.
Rivers - Best LB in the draft to help our pass rush opposite Pace.
Stewart - A complete back, moves a pile, no baggage.
Albert - Can plug G or OT positions, nice bust/injury insurance policy.
    Mendenhall - Another nice runner.
Harvey - Next best DE in the draft (more tackles than Gholston 49/37)

If it comes to this I wouldn't be surprised if we find another Revis/Harris in that group. In a way I wonder if our running game would improve more with an Albert as opposed to a McFadden.

    1. Miami - Jake Long OT

    2. St Louis - Glenn Dorsey DT
Dorsey is better suited to DT than Carriker who will move to DE.

    3. Atlanta - Matt Ryan QB
They're desperate for a new face/QB for the franchise and Dorsey is the only player that would have changed this pick.

    4. Oakland - Chris Long DE/OLB
Davis surprises everyone and doesn't take McFadden. With 4 RB's already on their roster and plenty of needs on their defense, they take Howie's kid who is much less risky than workout warrior Gholston.

    5. New Orleans (trade with KC) - Sedrick Ellis DT
This trade makes the Saints entire draft. They knew they didn't have a chance to get Ellis if they sat at 10. KC can still get the LT (Clady) and QB (Henne) that they need with the 10th and 17th picks.

    6. Jets - Darren McFadden RB
BPA with the greatest value and fills a big need for a playmaker on offense.

    7. New England - Keith Rivers LB
Rivers fits their system and is their type of player.

    8. Baltimore - Branden Albert OT/G
They'll want to trade down but will settle for Ogden's future replacement at LT.

    9. Cincinnati - Vernon Gholston DE/OLB
They need help on the DL and wanted a DT but will settle for Gholston who will help them get pressure on the QB.

    10. Kansas City - Ryan Clady OT
Dropped down and still got the LT that they desperately need.

    11. Buffalo - Devin Thomas WR
    Frees up Lee Evans.

    12. Denver - Chris Williams OT
The type of intelligent and quick OL that Shanahan likes. Should be able to pick up the chop block quickly.

    13. Carolina - Jonathan Stewart RB
They need a RB to keep defenses honest on Steve Smith. I think he's going to be a very good RB.

    14. Chicago - Chad Henne QB
A bit of a reach but when you're that desperate for a QB sometimes you have to. Plus they would have to hope that one of the other QB's fell to them in the 2nd rd.

    15. Detroit - Rashard Mendenhall RB

    16. Arizona - Leodis McKelvin CB

    17. Kansas City - Derrick Harvey DE

    18. Houston - Jeff Otah OT

    19. Philadelphia - Mike Jenkins CB

    20. Tampa Bay - Limas Sweed WR

    21. Washington - Phillip Merling DE

    22. Dallas - Felix Jones RB

    23. Pittsburgh - Gosder Cherilus OT

    24. Tennessee - James Hardy WR

    25. Seattle - Kentwan Balmer DT

    26. Jacksonville - Lawrence Jackson DE

    27. San Diego - Tyrell Johnson S

    28. Dallas - Rodgers-Cromartie CB

    29. San Francisco - Jerod Mayo LB

    30. Green Bay - Aqib Talib CB

    31. New England - FORFEITED for being douchebag cheaters

    32. Giants - Kenny Phillips S
