Heard that Gholston will likely go as deep as no.17th where KC might pick him tomorrow and that the Jets will draft McFadden. Raiders are not going to take either one of them and while Jets would have opportunity to decide whom to take, McFadden will be the choice. If the Jets see alot of interest in Gholston while he is falling, they will try to trade up for him and take both. Highly unlikely both ending up on one side however. Heard this on 103.3 ESPN. I would love to have both of them on them on the side...awesome...But lets not get overly excited. Few hours left for the draft and rumors are a plenty. ------ Edited ------ J - Mac....as in Jets - McFadden... a bit confusing title I suppose but there is really no room for McButterfingers to be mentioned while the Jets get ready for the future.
Darren McFRadden will be a Raider...if for seom reason we get lucky and hS FALLS past the Jets...we absolutely should take his ass. DMC!
You have a better argument Mcfadden would fall out of the top 10.. Because after the raiders and jets he would start slipping.
Edited....It was suppose to be J - Mac as in Jets - McFadden.... Anyways it wont be surprising that the may very well end with McFadden. But what is interesting is that some analyst on ESPN Radio said that Gholston will fall all the way down to the 17 th pick for KC where Jets may try to deal to move up from the second round. Not sure what it will be, possibly the second this yr and a second next yr. 17th pick is worth 950 pts. Our second is worth 550. 18th pick in the second round next yr would be worth 400 and that makes it a reasonable trade. I would'nt mind such a scenario but with TanGini making the calls, its possible. Its all based on what other teams need and how they view Gholston. However, I dont think Gholston will last that long and even if he does, KC would stay put and take him this low anyways.
Why would KC trade up from the second round when they have the 17th pick???? Alot of this don't make sense.
I see the Jets trading back into the bottom of the 1st round but probably for a QB or somebody like Mayo. If Gholston were to fall that far then it means more than just a few of us believe he takes games off and is nothing more that a workout warrior.
