Just based off what liitle information I actually know about these prospects I would say obviously Chris Long would fit the Mangini mold the most.

For least I would say Gholston, who does not seem like a Mangini guy to me.

Most liked, I'd have to say Chris Long.

For least, I'd have to say, it depends. Can a lazy player get coached or motivated to have their motor running on all plays on an NFL level? If not, then I'd have to say least liked by Mangini would be Gholston. If yes, then probably McFadden.

This question is borderline racist cause I know for sure no one will name a black guy as the most Mangini. It's either Long or Matt Ryan.

Why? Wasn't Cotchery the guy mentioned that brought up the whole "Mangini type" definition?

    WTF?
You shouldnt say posters would lie to be negative.

If someone asked who is best player on team , is it racist to non-whites if they said Leon washington, or racist to blacks if they said Nick Mangold?
    No, its just someones opinion.

Come on, its just a question. I have more faith in people than you I guess.

We are only taking the top 6 into consideration. Moreover, we have to take into account who the Jets (mangini) would draft. That being said, this thread is only border line racist if you are a racist.

    The top 6 is half/half:

    Jake Long
    Chris Long
    Glenn Dorsey
    Darren McFadden
    Vernon Gholston
    Matt Ryan

That is hardly an indicator of racism.

thats weak....its all about character, not race. McFadden just happens to be part of a fucked up family and has had off field issues more often then most people change their underpants. Is that because hes black? I dont know, you seem to be the expert, so tell me yoda.....

    Oh, go away please.

I would say that either Long would be a :coughs; Mangini guy. Matt Ryan would figure as well, good listener and can carry out instructions to the letter.
The only one with questionable character is DMc, but that is now water under the Brooklyn Bridge :breakdance:

    You're a fucking idiot.

    Of the top 6:
DMC impregnates another girl every few months. Not "Mangini guy."
People question Gholston's heart and work ethic. Not "Mangini guy"
Dorsey, doesn't fit the jets D, plus has questionable health... not exactly a "Mangini guy"
Sedrick Ellis, could be a "Mangini guy" if he fit our system.
    Jake long irrelevant. he's drafted.
Chris long, mangini guy, wont fall to us.
    Whats racist?

That being said, players we are likely to draft are DMC, C.Long and Gholston..

    Idiot.

Sorry about for not being politically correct, but what makes Chris Long more "Mangini" then Dorsey or even Gholston for that matter? Who ever said McFadden doesn't love football? Cause that's what being Mangini is all about. And it's not like McFadden ain't hardworking. Don't try to spin it off as me being a fucking idiot cause no one in this thread is picking a black guy as most Mangini from the top 6. So what's up with that?

One of the things I happen to like the most about this site, along with the humor, is that the ONLY color I see mentioned is GREEN. Please, for the love of god, don't start making statements like this and make people choose sides.

That being said, about the only guy I see that wouldn't fit the mold of a 'Mangini' guy would be D MAC. Not because he's black, but up until now the choices he's made haven't necessarily been good ones. Whether he can turn his life around, ala, Curtis Martin, remains to be seen...

I'm just saying what makes Chris Long more Mangini than someone like Glenn Dorsey?

Actually, considering what he grew up around, (drug addict mother, gang-bangin' brothers), he's proven he can make the right choices when it counts. Well, except for the paternity thing...but that puts him in the same boat with the legendary Tom Brady, so is it really that reprehensible (in a football sense, anyway)?

as far as chris Long, simply the fact we was tutored by a ex NFL player, his Dad, He knows all pitfalls and trapdoors that come along with being a NFLer.
    Bad example to use.
