I don't mean to make a laughingstock out of the Jets - one shouldn't forget the past lest he becomes complacent.

The Jets did have a good draft for past two years. I hope it continues.

Only last year might be considered good.

So Mangold is not good enough in your eyes? Heck, I thought DBrick was growing up, and getting better as well.

I was there in 1980 for the Lam Jones pick...on the line to get into the ballroom at the Sheraton. The fans booed for sure- and when I saw old time NY Sportscaster Bill Mazer come out of the ballroom to head to the press room - I asked him why Jone...

"he's fast, real fast" Mazer replied. I said I know - but he can't catch the ball - so who cares how fast he is... Mazer gave me a funny look - but then again didn't he have a glass eye? In retrospect ------------------------

I was rating it overall, not on one player. Sure I like Mangold but they also took Clemens, Ferguson, Smith, Schlegel, Pociask and Titus Adams. The three good players they got were Mangold, Washington and Eric Smith isn't bad.

I'm not saying it was bad but I also don't think it can be considered good.

  6. So a potential starting QB, a starter at LT from day one w/ a ton of upside, and a great gadget type playmaking # 3 WR is considered bad?

The QB will be gone in a year and gadget players just don't impress me. I'm not sure how many years you wait for that upside to show itself. He will be solid but will he ever be worth the #4 pick? I don't think so.

Not to mention the most dynamic offensive player on our team currently: Leon Washington.

Ken O'Brien, Freeman McNeil, and Jeff Lageman were bad picks?

Mel Kiper should be shot in the face.

We'll have to see.... People like to assume that Mangold was great last year, but, in my opinion, Brandon Moore was our best lineman (which says a lot)....

Mangold, with Kendall absent, took a slight step back.. It's to be expected, but we have to hope that he can pick up where he left off after his rookie year now with Faneca on board...

If you want a real laugh, go look at Miami's past 10 drafts

Frankly, I can't care less about who the dolfags drafted. They can go fuck themselves all night and I wouldn't care anyway.

What I care is that, the Jets finally have got something good going - I would like to see it continue.

Anyone that doesn't think the past 2 drafts have been good is retarded. I mean seriously, drooling, need a helmet, retarded.

Or they're just bitching for the sake of bitching. Oh, right.

True. I don't think I ever laughed as hard as when i heard "With the number 9 pick in the 2007 nfl draft, the miami dolphins select...TED GINN JR., WR, Ohio state"

There is no way that our draft that year was any thin other than superb.
