heards football report has the jets taking mario williams at #4 and mathias kiwanuka at #29 in the first round.they are a pretty reliable football source. I cannot believe the jets would draft two defensive ends in the first round. they still have ellis signed long term and they just signed the guy from pittsburgh.so whats up?
well super mario at 4 is expected .. kiwanuka is not thought ... we need magold more then him .. we got ellis n von offen
Yeh, thats rediculous, no way it happens, if we went Kiwanuka at 29 then it would be Hawk or D'Brick or a QB at 4, or if we go Mario at 4 then it is O-line or LB at 29
At this point, confirming who the Jets will draft in 30 days would be akin to breaking Watergate the minute they slapped the cuffs on the burglars. That is, to say, highly unlikely.
The front office doesn't even know who they are going to take. I wouldn't put two front 7 defensive players passed them in the first round.
well normally I wouldn't mind what heard says but if we take mario #4 then we are going to take a lineman at #29. I hope that's the way it plays out and with our 2nd rd pick we can take a rb or a lb. To tell you the truth at this point I just want the draft to get here already.
Let's see how reliable Heards Football report is. Who did they have us taking in the first round of the last 5 drafts?
Its not unrealistic. The idea is Mario Williams as a 3-4 end and Mathias Kiwanuka as an OLB. We have needs at both of those spots to some degree.
