Got to love this guy's attitude, not jcotchrocket's, Jenkins. Of all the off season moves the Jets have made, I like this one the best. I think it is the best trade the Jets have made since Martin. This guy has been playing in a 4-3, but he was built for a 3-4 NT. He made 3 Pro Bowls out of position in the 4-3. I believe he will make another 3 as a NT. Not only will he, but his presence will make some of the people around him make the Pro Bowl. For the last few years when ever the Jets opponent got in a short yardage situation, I kind of had the feeling, just give it to them, you knew they were going to get it any how. Those days are over. One of the reasons he is no longer a Panther is after the Tampa game he loudly criticized his team mates for not playing hard. When a guy as big as him starts yelling at his team mates they better be listening. That kind of temperament is very infectious. Two things a 3-4 defense MUST have to be successful is a large, mean spirited NT, and a pass rushing OLB. They have the NT, they also have picked up Pace who is going to help allot. I also believe they are going to draft either Gholston or Harvey at 6. This will be a top defense. I guarantee ya that when it was announced that the Jets signed Jenkins, a lot of centers and OG's in the AFCE when on a drunk. Can't wait

Well that was the first time I read it and it makes the trade look even better. If we end up with Gholston and a fine CB in the draft, the front 7 defense alone should tear apart 'most' of the NFL teams.
