SNY Report says Kerry Rhodes resigns

Great to see, money well deserved. Hes awesome and has made some highlight reel plays. Might be Bradway's shining moment as GM, getting this guy in day 2.

Rhodes is now the 2nd highest paid Safety, we have the Colts to thank for that though.

He better make the Goddamn Pro Bowl, because if he gets snubbed one more time its time to tanya harding the 3 less talented safeties in front of him like the washed out John Lynch, who is my favorite white player in NFL history. I have his Bronco Jersey in white and i wear it alot- but holy hell get off the fuckin ballot.

 

Because hes one of the best safties in the NFL, but still can't beat out old man Lynch in the vacation bowl. :wink:

Rhodes went about his business right..He knew Eric and Mike were going to take care of him..Kerry is a Madison Avenue guy who doesn't want to leave New York and now is taken care of properly..They really took care of Vilma too. His trade to NO was perfect for him..a 4-3 defense where he excels , near his home in Miami and out of the AFC..Eric and Mike have done an A++ job this off season.

 

Resigns....for a second there I thought he quit.:drunk:

 

I'm very happy about this move, but coming out of a 4-12 season, and an overall dismal coaching display, there's plenty to complain about...

I'll leave that to another thread, but you need to calm down... Multiple championships?! Let's start with getting back to .500, okay?

This is great news...I really like Rhodes...but the best part about it is that I don't have to hear a bunch of people on this board bitch about signing a guy that we already had locked up for the next 2 years minimum (franchise tag).

The best thing about this Rhodes signing is that we just locked up a top 5 safety for his prime years...
