    they said yesterday that the hammie injury may affect phil when its cold, it tightens up.

    My head can't comprehend a Yankees manager making such a good strategic move. 12 years of Torre made me just think IPK was hurt.

    Same exact situation here. I was stunned when they started explaining it.

    Cone said he can't recall ever seeing something like this done. Me either.

    Joe Girardi may have been the best hire since Billy Martin.

    Believe it or not, Torre did the same thing last week, with Billingsley (he's on my fantasy team, that's how I know). Of course, he screwed it up, since it started to rain again, and Billingsley came out again.

    Even if IPK doesn't pitch, atleast that gives us Pettitte for the first game of the Sox series.
