I really do like Pennington and I'd love if he played at least how he played in 2006, BUT, my question is to those people who think our free agency aquisitions point to Pennington as the preferred starter: Wouldn't any coaching staff want whoever is playing QB to be behind a good line, especially following a horrid seasonal performance? Why should Pennington benefit more from the extra time in the pocket than Kellen?

how he played in 2006? he sucked....16td' 16 interceptions.....and some crucial int like the playoff game or against the bears in the redzone...derrr hes accurate but his arm strength is so feeble, the ball can not get there anytime.resorting to 3 yard passes and a stacked box so we can not run the ball at least kellen can be a threat...some people on this site have no clue about football and like CP better because he has a lot of hear...i like him too...dont get me wrong...but Kellen is the Quarterback of the future...why do you think the coaching staff is getting all these free agent talent...to give kellen a better now unit so he doesnt get shell shock from all the hits he has taken in his early career...and he got up just like pennington would but still in one peice:up:
and i'm not saying i'm anti-Kellen. but I did say AT LEAST as good as 2006. I do think Pennington played well in 2006 - considering the line was the same as last season, 'cept we had Pete Kendall. Pete Kendall doesn't make a whole lot of difference, even though he's much better than Clarke. This line now should be worlds better than 2006.

I still don't believe that Chad is a bad quarterback. He's a good quarterback with a weak arm. That's it.
3 things the jets should do: 1. Chad should replace our kangaroo at punter 2. Faneca should haze the shit out of DBrick all preseason and finally 3. DSlob should be required to run circles around the meadowlands until hes able to be traded
