    Note from Rotoworld-
NFL Network's Adam Schefter says it will be a "major upset" if the Falcons don't trade DeAngelo Hall before the draft.
Two teams are reportedly showing heavy interest in Hall. The Giants offered Atlanta their first-round pick (No. 31) in the winter, but were apparently turned down. The Falcons may now be feeling more urgency to make a move.

I know Hall is considered to have major character issues, but I wonder if Tannenbaum is tempted to pair Hall with Revis, especially considering the Jets interest in Asante Samuel.

Maybe Hall for our second round pick and some other form of minor compensation. Our secondary would be set, we could draft Gholston at #6 and our defense would enter 2008 with a chance to be absolutely dominant.

I guess theres no chance of it happening though. I remember seeing clips of Hall getting in hte faces of his coaches on a few different ocassions.

I would love to have him instead of us picking up Ty Law. I think he would be great paired up with Revis. I would even try Marlon Mcree if was left on the market but i think he got scooped up already

Any chance that you are obsessed with defensive backs?

Atlanta will want too much. If they turned gown the Giants first pick, they won't take a second and some second day picks.

Hall is trouble and Law's legs are too old!! so I think they will arrange this in the draft

I don't think CB is all that big an issue this year. Not if they manage to get some pressure on the QB for once. Certainly not worthy of a high draft pick.

Just a little food for thought... The Falcons need a DT. SO, maybe we could package our second rounder and Drob for Hall. I am not a big fan of Hall, but he is one hell of a DB.

    Me First

Stay away from Hall at all costs. I live in Atlanta and get to hear about his antics every day in the paper and on the radio. It's not that he isn't a good corner but this guy is a me first player. In the game vs. Carolina this year Hall completely shut down Steve Smith until two back to back plays in the 4th quarter where Hall got called for pass interference and then flipped out and got a personal foul for losing it after the second flag. Carolina, who couldn't move the ball all game, gained 63 yds on those 3 penalties, scored and won the game. After the game Hall was screaming at Smith that who cares about the game b/c he had been to more Pro Bowls than Smith had. Sounds like a great team guy. Also, he has already come out and said that he wants more money than Nate Clements got last year.

Hall is emotional but remember who was the Dick Head Coach who didn't back his player up on a questionable call. That was why he was so upset. Considering the money Clements received, Hall has every right to demand competitive value for his play. That is what all Americans do or I hope still believe. Don't we still go on strike to receive competitive compensation for our services?

if we trade down with the cowboys on draft day we can give them are 2nd pick. Hall is better than any corner in this years draft

He may go for a 3rd because of all the baggage that comes with him. I think if anybody was willing to give up a 2nd it would already have been done.

I think we should have some passion and attitude, anyone remember gastineau, was he a dick, yes, but did he make us better, yes, and I think hall would do the same. And who would want a corner with no confidence or bravado. I am sick of watching a defense that just goes thru the motions, I want a defense that will break your teeth, just smack the shit out of you from the first play. Now that would be nice!

Our pass defense was ranked 9th at the end of the last year and that was with Poteat starting at the end of the year...I don't think we need to go crazy on Hall because we will more than likely draft one and not have to deal with all the bs that surrounds him....Plus, the way we have been going in FA so far, if we wanted him, offers would have already been made..
