The Patriots have signed safety Tank Williams to a one-year contract, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. The Minneapolis Star Tribune also reports on Williams' deal with New England. Williams (6-foot-2, 223 pounds) was with the Vikings the last two seasons and is considered a big hitter. He spent the first four seasons of his career with the Titans. http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/reiss_pieces/2008/03/report_pats_sig.html
That's a very good signing...not sure why he fell through the cracks. He was very solid during his time w/ the Titans and he adds some needed size to the Pats secondary.
Well he is a bit injury prone. He missed all of 2006 with a shattered knee cap and 3 games last year with a sprained mcl.
WASHED UP! Pats love those veterans. We're gonna have a lot of fun exploiting their lack of defensive speed next season. GPC
