This year did me in, I actually had hope after 06 than the Pats go undefeated lose to the Giants in the SB and we go 4 & 12 with one of the single most unexciting, uninspiring, untalented teams I have every seen. Pile On top of that the outright money grubbing with waiting list money, upfront parking money because they could, the attempted theft of taxpayer money, low rent staff and it all added up to a ton of frustration. I'm cynical enough to think this spend is about putting a good enough team on the field next year to insure they get absolute top PSL money and their share of selling the rights to name the stadium. I love the fact that we are spending a fortune on the interior lines all we need now is for Clemens to show up at mini camp in a white fur coat, pantyhose and white shoes drinking scotch instead of Gatorade.
I believe Clemens is a church going man..no chance..Give him a running game and some protection he is going to be good. He can zip the pill and make all the throws..I'm confident we will be a very good offense in 2008-09 WB.
I know the only QB who actually gets what being the QB of the Jets should be is Tom Brady. Go figure.
I am an agreement with this statement. After going 4-12 if we were to have another season like this how would the Jets be able to sell PSL's? Its going to be hard enough as it is, but to suck again. He had no choice but to spend. Huge season for the GM, coach and owner. Just huge.
