"abosolute beast" and "franschise playa" on what Madden? because it is sure as shit not in the NFL. Get rid of him if he can get something in return............ bye bye.

That's the problem with the Jets, they never keep the good players they already have. I think he should get a chance to play one more year beside Harris. But you know how the Jets are, they don't want to pay to keep anyone, so I can see where they are going trying to trade him.

do you guys not understand this....HE DOES NOT WANT TO BE HERE WITH MANGINI AND THIS SYSTEM...WE ARE GOING TO LOOSE HIM NEXT YEAR WHEN HE IS A FREE AGENT ANYWAY. its better that we can control were he goes and we will get something that will make our 3-4 system better

I'll side with those who like Vilma but think it's the best for everyone if we move him...

Love the player but I loved my ex-wife too. Sometimes change is for the best for all the parties involved. I just hope that we get a first day pick or an equivalent level player for him.

i think the Jets are shopping him to see what they can get. I dont think they will accept anything less then an early 2nd rounder...to be honest. They know what hes worth in a 4-3

harris will not suffer the same fate because he is a prototype 3-4 ILB, and he played it in college.. he'll be fine.

I think that is an accurate description of where he is coming from.

Fyp and Yes because Harris made more big plays in his 3/4's of a year then Vilma made his entire freaking career. Over rate players a little bit?

Get a quality NT and keep him... Vilma brings more to the table then just his skill.

It has nothing to do with the pay, Vilma is not a good fit for the 34 D, he's too small and as always since the 34 was implemented many of his tackles have been 4 - 6 yards into the defensive backfield, he's a talented 43 MLB but he's not a good fit for this D.

Plus next year he'll be an FA, why not get something for him instead of letting him walk away and get nothing for him, you know the Bradway way.

Well, they obviously aren't going to keep him after telling him to go make his own deal before they trade him so this is rather pointless.
