i'd love to see the jets use their #1 and #2 of 2007 so we can get Bush Leinart Ferguson and AJ Hawke Trade #1 for 2007 with our #35 in 2006 to texas for their #1 in 2006 and draft Bush Trade #2 for 2007 with our #29 in 2006 to the Saints for their #2 in 2006 and draft Leiart Trade #3 for 2007 with our #71 in 2006 to the titans for their #3 in 2006 and draft Ferguson Keep our #4 for 2006 and draft AJ HAWKE Use our #97 -comp pick which canr be traded to get best WR available If the above teams need more picks to sweaten the deals throw in our #103 --#117 -#138 #211 and # 217 Our draft will be awesome if none of those deals can be made i want us to use these picks to bring in vet OL ---with our OL looking very pouous our QB and RB will not finish half the season so trade #71 and #138 for the best OL possible then trade #103 and #117 for another OL---throw in #211 and #217 to sweaten the deal use our #4 to get AJHAWKE use our #29 to get best QB available use our #35 to get best WR available use our # 97 to get best Def DL available sign Kerry Collins who has thrown for over 3000 yards in last 6 seasons and we will have respectable team the free agency period has not brought in one single guy who can take over and be counted on to be a top notch player
Well, that could've been one of the stupidest posts I've ever seen. And I really hope that whole thing was sarcasted. Why the hell would the titans except two 3rd rounders for the #3 overall?! Your trades make no sense and are way unrealistic.
section 134 are you intoxicated? While your at it, package our 7th round pick with Curtis Martin and ship him to San Diego for L.T. I'm sure this trade probably sounds fair to you.
What else does Dr. Fat see in our future? j/k man, but man that's a wild mock. Trade away next year's draft to go nuts this year? And how do you expect to sign all of those guys? People need to get the idea out of their head that this team can/will be rebuilt in one year.
I get so sick of these mock offseasons / crazy draft trades...I know they are fun to do sometimes, but almost all of them are unrealistic. But hey, whatever flips your skirt...
Dude, look up NFL draft value chart in google & a dozen will show up. Then consider that next year's draft pick has the value of this year's minus one round: a 2nd rounder in 2007 carries the weight of a 3rd rounder in 2006 For us to JUST get the #1 pick ONLY, it would cost us: 2006: 1(4) = 1800 2006: 1(29) = 640 2006: 2(3) = 550 2006: 7(9) = 11 After that, all 6 of the remaining picks we have this year (not counting our untradable 3rd round comp) AND all 7 of our picks next year combined would add up to getting the #8 overall pick this year. We'd walk away from the 2006 AND 2007 drafts with two players (plus our 3rd-round comp this year). It's also beyond foolish to trade any of the top-35 picks to move UP in a draft that has some 45 players with legitimate first-round grades. You either stay pat or trade down. Doubly stupid in a rebuilding year.
Preach on brother, this is the awesomest mock draft i ever did saw but you missed something. Trade our #4round pick in 2007 for the Packers first round pick this year and draft Vince Yeung in case Pennington and Ramsey and Collins and Booolinger and Leiart are busts and if Yeung is a bust we can trade all the picks in 2008 next year and draft that Noter dam gfuy..awseome:up:
hahahaha...wow that is hillarious. good luck getting the #1, #2, #3, and #4 overall picks. have you ever heard of the term "salary cap"? you are either drunk, high, or living in a madden fantasy world.
Not to be harsh to the original poster, but I was wondering what he was on. 1st - the top three QBs will be long gone by pick #29 and no remaining QB would be worth the #29. Not even close. 2nd - Kerry Collins is an over rated has been, plus we already have 3 QBs under contract. 3rd - Niether of the first two trades would happen. 4th - Why in the hell would we trade up to get an OL that will be there at #4. Add in the fact that at #3 he would cost half a million more than at #4. You do not pay $7-8 million a year to an average sized rookie OL. 5th - Why draft AJ HAWKE when we have way bigger needs than at LB. 6th - Use a real draft value chart and people wouldn't cut your post up so bad, http://www.nfldraftblitz.com/pick_value_chart.htm . 7th - I could go on but.......
Hey! If those teams would trade those picks I'd do every one of them....but I don't share what I smoke.
you know I was real hesitant to click on this thread, should've followed my instincts. That's what I get for being curious.
i thought the post ideas had a lot of merit it would be to far fetched to wind up with the top four but it would be a good series of trades to secure OL trading #71 and #138 for a vet OL and trading 103 and 117 for another vet OL last year our guys were killed when mawae and fabini went down-----as of today there are no replacements to the most important position --the offensive line it has not been addressed in free agency---Mangini better comeup with something quickly or its going to be a replay of M*A*S*H 2006 style
Did you call Ms. Cleo in prison to get this information? Quick, somebody call espn, I mean if Ms. Cleo told him it has to be correct..... right?
I think it's better if we just ignore the post instead of igniting the flame and drawing attention. This has to be a joke and if it isn't well then I don't even know what to say.
