Should be an exciting year for sure! By the way, I am new here, although I don't really like any football team I love the Mets and Habs. I am good friends with YanksFan1992 (although the fact he roots for the Yankees does put him on my bad side a lot :wink and he encouraged me to sign up here. I couldn't find any good Mets forums and I know that many Mets fans root for the Jets as well, so I looked at the 3 Jets forums I found and chose this one. Let's Go Mets!
Ben Johnson is close to resigning with the Mets and would be invited to spring training blog.nj.com/ledgermets/2008/02/the_mets_close_to_adding_anoth.html
^ When he was with Toronto he was one of my favorite non-Mets. Then he got traded to New York and I was ecstatic, so I am not too surprised but still a little saddened
I can't post pictures yet so here are some pictures of Santana pitching metsblog.com/2008/02/14/view-pics-of-santana-pitching/
Hah! Dude, I lurk in your threads once in a while, but almost never say a word. I'm not waiting for a discussion of that "other" team, just trying to see what you're saying about your team. This season is a little more interesting than most, since you have Johan in camp. And the main reason I opened this thread was because it was the first Spring Training thread, and I'm pumped for baseball!
wow i see noone commenting on that gay picture of Jose Reyes. and people want to call Jeter gay... i love the leather jacket and sweatshirt with the chest hanging out... i heard those are the new mets uniforms. bunch of skirts
Who are you again? Oh yeah some new troll who is looking to stir up trouble. I've seen you stirring the pot in a few other threads. That's ok people like you don't seem to last around this board very long. My advice to you is that if you don't want to get banned avoid being a jackass but my guess is that your not interested in a discussion just talking shit.
Im no troll my man, im a Jets fan and a Yankees fan like many other people on this thread. i was making a simple point that people try to call jeter gay for pictures just like this and it frustrates me when others players do the same thing and noone brings recognition to that. im not trying to start trouble and im sorry if it seemed that way. i like the mets 100x more then the red sox and i think we can both agree on that
