I kinda agree that he will play LG. but I dont want kendall taking Moore spot. I hope the OL will be like this D'Brick, Jones, Mangold, Moore, O'Callaghan. you could switch moore in and out with Kendall cause this may be kendall last year or you could just keep him to help Jones and Moore better Guards. But i think Moore has earned the respect to be a starter but so has Kendall for 11 years. decision decision. what do you guys think

If Moore did play LG, Kendall would play C. I don't think he'll be moved though, he's mobile enough to be a RT.

i think kendall can handle being at guard for a couple more years. I say keep the line u have only instead of getting callaghan, move kendall there and either develop him as ur future guard or draft some1 else

Get D'Brick and move Jones to RT and let him settle there for a bit

Assuming the draft goes as NFLDC predicted, your first post is what I'd want:

    D'Brick, Jones, Mangold, Kendall/Moore, O'Callaghan

    RT

he was moved to LT because he was playing RT well and fabini sucked

so there's no reason to possible mess him up by moving him to a guard, he'd have to gain weight which would be bad

You need a vet in there. Since we lost Runyon, you'll see Kendall starting either at center or guard. Might depend on whether we get Mangold and how fast he comes along.

how would jones do at RG? but if kendall did get moved to RG he could teach moore some stuff and they could alternate. but D'Brick,Jones, Mangold,Kendall/Moore, O'Callaghan would be a solid line.

i think it is like a 80% chance we pick up mangold and O'Callaghan. like i mean we could put moore in on 3rd down or something. but i would rather have kendall over moore

Right now, Kendall is sort of the center by default, but hes a much better guard than a center, so ideally youd like to see him moved back. If this Katnik guy steps up, or if we draft a center, than you can move him back, until then Kendalls the center. Moore is one guard, either Kendall or a future pickup is the other(we pretty much are guaranteed to either sign or spend a draft pick on a legit guard or center).

Right now, Jones is our LT. If we picked Ferguson with the #4 pick, Id bet on him playing RT at first, a lot of high picks intended to be LTs start off at RT and move over after a year or so. In the meantime, Jones picks up experience, and maybe hes tradeable by the time Ferguson is ready to move over, or maybe he puts on some weight and moves back to the right side.

    Here is a realistic Oline...

    LT- Adrian Jones
    LG- Pete Kendall
    C- Nick Mangold
    RG- Brandon Moore
    RT- Brad Hopkins

    That would be decent...

It doesn't matter there is no chance of us wasting a pick on a lineman when the position is already filled.

the Jets may still draft o'callaghan just to be safe i really hope the ol will be
D'Brick, Kendall,Mangold, Moore, Jones. i think jones can gain at least 10 lbs before camp

O'Callaghan may be moved to guard in the pros... so you may want to think about that before you draw up your possible lines

    Bench?

Isn't Hopkins like as old as Vinny? Do you really think he's the answer?

Well maybe not no chance, but I just can't see it happening if you catch my drift.

    RT

...Idk why everyone thinks Jones is so much better at LT than RT, hes not all that good to begin with. D'Brick is one of the best o-line prospects of the past couple years and fills our biggest need which contrary to popular belief IS o-line. Mangini is smart and will build a solid offensive line in this draft because its one of the best o-line drafts ever. Doesn't matter who our qb is if we cant protect him. Thats why our offensive was productive in the past, because we had one of the best lines in the league.

I'd say Jones becomes a back up tackle. Sounds about right to me.
