The only other player I would listen to a case for is Sedrick Ellis. If he is a legit NT prospect I think you have to look at it.
if you guys wanna stockpile rushers/d-line help, this is what i think we should do trade down from 6 to the cowboys for 22, 28, and ther 3rd rounder (granted, this is only if d-mac falls, but lets say best case scenario he does) IF we sign a big CB in the offseason (samuel, asomugha or florence) then draft like this: 22:calais campbell, DE 28: quentin groves, OLB 36:mario manningham (speedy wr to spread the offense) 3rd round:ahtyba rubin, NT IF we sign a big WR in the offseason (stallworth or berrian), then draft like this: 22:dominique rodgers-cromartie, CB 28:quentin groves, OLB 36at sims, 34 DE 3rd round:ahtyba rubin, NT with any of these scenarios, i think we'd drastically improve our front 7 on D, as well as other areas on our team
Taken from a post above: Damn, I pray he is roid free. What a nasty looking bad-ass. He has my vote on that alone.
I don't know much about roids or ne thing but is it even humanly possible to be that jacked without anything illegal? He looks like a monster.
I think Gholston has huge bust potential. He was less than impressive in his bowl game and had a bad senior week. He is dogged by steroid rumours. He will have to change positions in the NFL. He is a good physical specimen but he has a TON of question marks. I will not be surprised if he is one of the players that drops in the draft. And I am not sold the Jets should take the risk on him at 6. Most Jets fans for some reason are totally sold on the guy.
Wow. 1. He was bad in the bowl game, but anything good he did has been ignored and overshadowed. It's one game. 2. He's a junior. 3. Rumors started on the internetz. Those are always right. 4. True he does have question marks, but to say he's not top 10 worthy in this draft with his tools at this point is just wrong...and his 22.5 sacks in the past 2 seasons (21 starts) goes completely ignored.
