What tonight demonstrated is that in today's NFL, a team can win a championship by making the playoffs and getting hot in January. What did the Giant ownership do that the Jets didn't do?
How about going out and getting big time play making players even if they aren't choirboys? Or having a GM that isn't a friggin accountant who knows nothing about football?
True. Send in your application. You certainly have more an idea of how to run a football team than a guy whose worked for one for 10 years and seems to be well respected by one of the greatest football minds alive (Parcells). I don't want to have to post that pic again.

Yeah pal. The only 2 choices for GM is a accountant who has no idea how to evaluate players (and has proved that) or a message board poster... That makes tons and tons of sense.
I'd vote a message board poster who *knows* man, just knows....over some idiot accountant who probably blew his way into a job so he could destroy our franchise. I mean look at the terrible job he's done so far as a GM....saved us from cap hell within months of being hired...hasn't tied us into a big contract with a player unlikely to match his contract with his production...signed under the radar FAs who have actually contributed (Coleman, Bowens, Dyson)...works very well with the HC....WTF is this NERDS problem? All he knows is da maths and in FOOTBALL you don't need MATHS.
LOL what a excuse maker you are... Dyson wasn't even ACTIVE most of the games this year. Guys off the street beat him out. Coleman was mediocre just like the rest of the jets Dline and bowens is a role player. NTM he didn't see the obvious, that the jets O line couldn't start for a decent MAC team or that his great 2nd round QB would have the lowest passer rating of any QB who played more than 5 games in the NFL. This front office is a disgrace on MANY levels. The few good players they have brought in are outnumbered by the smart tough GARBAGE they have signed and positions they have just plain out neglected.

Just watch this off season where the 25+ million the jets are under the cap by goes straight into good old boy woody's pocket and the jets once again take a complete pass in free agency.
