is posting a new mock draft tomorrow just to let everyone know. For the last 5 years its been one of the most accurate in the country.
Yeah I have actually looked up the history of the mocks from nfldraftcountdown.com and Scott Wright was dead on with a TON of the first round picks... This probably could have gone in the draft forum, but thats for the notification.
It's 1 month until the draft. I don't take anything posted now seriously. The draft can change drastically from now to then.
Nobody ever said they were going to take it seriously...however, it is interesting to see the opinion of a guy who has been very accurate in the past.
I think the site will have us taking one of the following three options: If staying at #4: M. Williams If trading down: D. Williams If trading up: M. Leinart
I don't want us to draft him or trade up, but if we did trade up with the saints, the jets would obviously take him, but in no way do I want or think that will happen.
I say take Lendale White before Williams. This guy would be the Heisman winner if he stayed in college. Martain is getting old and banged up. White would be a solid replacement!
Over DeAngelo Williams? No way, you take the complete back. DeAngelo has speed, power, and just knows how to flat out run the ball. White only has power.
White Heisman..USC lost most there line this year..How the hell do you not think Adrian Peterson would not be the better back next year..
LOL heres wut SCott Wright Predicted #4 OT DBrick #29 OLB Bobby CArpenter 2nder - OC Mangold 3rdner - OT R. Callanhan http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/sub/mockdraft.html any thoughts??
The only one I'm not a huge fan of is O'Callagahan and that is because taking him plus Brick when you have Adrian Jones is a little excessive. To be fair though O'Callaghan can play OG also and is a good value in round 3. In the circumstances given in rounds 1 and 2, I'd probably take Babatunde Oshinowo (3-4 NT), Joseph Addai, or Maurice Stovall before O'Callaghan.
