    According to Draft Daddy.com:

Ahtyba Rubin/DT/Iowa State: New York Jets, Cleveland Browns.

-the more research I do the more I like this guy as our NT - and he can be had in Round 2!

Chris Johnson/RB/East Carolina: New York Jets, San Deigo Chargers, Tampa Bay,

-why are we looking at a big RB? I like the guy but...we have RB's. Makes me think McFadden is off our draft board.

Kellen Davis/TE/Michigan State: New York Giants, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles

-We obviously need a young TE!

Barry Richardson/OT/Clemson: Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New York Jets

-This guy is HUGE - RT potential?

Sedrick Ellis/DT/USC: New York Jets, New Orleans Saints

-May be more of a courtesy, he's no true 3-4 NT unless we go 4-3???

Gosder Cherilius/OT/Boston College: Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets

    -Another big OT

Heath Benedict/OL/Newberry: New York Jets, San Diego Chargers

    -More Oline help?

Cliff Avril/DE-OLB/Purdue: Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Jets, San Diego Chargers

    -True hybrid - 3-4 guys

Matt Forte/RB/Tulane: New York Jets, Indianapolis

    -another RB?

Philip Wheeler/LB/Georgia Tech: New York Jets, New York Giants, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis.

    -We need younger LB's

Carl Nicks/OT/Nebraska: New York Jets, Green Bay Packers

-Good to see we have OLine prioritized...

Darrell Robertson/DE-OLB: New York Jets, Cleveland

    -Another hybrid type

So based on this we are looking at a potential NT and fortifying the Oline - and a bunch of Hybrid DE/LB's and RB's. Seems to make sense.

I would love to have Rubin as my #2 pick!!!

RB is so deep in this years draft this guy could very relaistically be available at the top of Rd. 4. He would provide excellent depth to our back field...

I've mentioned in other threads that I really like this guy. The 3 E. Carolina games I watched this guy he was a beast. He reminds me very much of Rodney Hampton when he came out of Georgia...

We could definately steal a RB such as Tashard Choice, Matt Forte or Mike Hart in the 4th round. Both of these are starting-type RBs that can turn out to be steals for this team.

From what I've been hearing, Rubin has gone from a potential mid-round pick to a second round pick. If we have a good free agent class with an offensive lineman or two and maybe an upgrade at some spot in the secondary, they should definately take a shot on Rubin in the second round.

I love Cherilus, McGlynn and Rubin. All of them are tough battlers, which is what I want in my 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks respectively.

That was great. Man, I love me a rant.

EDIT: As to Brad Smith, I like Smith. But, they ought to develop him one way or the other - and THEN do something sneaky with him. In '06 no-one really knew what to expect from us, which contributed to our relative success.

Can someone show me a list of the players we spoke to at last year's Senior Bowl so I can see how many of them we drafted? Thanks.
