We hopefully have solved our QB problems by this round, but if all 4 are available come the 5th round which one of these would you take a gamble on? D.J. Shockley Georgia Michael Robinson Penn State Marcus Vick Virginia Tech Drew Olson UCLA
Drew Olson. Hes has a great arm and good accuracy and would be a steal in this draft. He dominated the skills competition even though im not gonna based it all on that i watched it and i beleive he maybe could do something in this league one day.
Olsen's TD/INT ratio was something like 34/3 this year. He has great accuaracy and reasonable arm strength... I saw a bunch of UCLA games and he looked good in most of them. I don't see why he isn't going day 1. I'd take him in the 4th.
I've been high on Olson for a long time. I'm still up in the air if I'd rather have Cutler at #4 or Olson later in the draft
I voted for Olsen but I would like Robinson as well could bring us a Randel El like dimension to our offense
I would take a flyer on Robinson and try to make him into a Randle el type. None of the guys on that list will make it as NFL Qb's. I didn't even see MSU's post before I put this up but I agree with him.
I like DJ. Shockley. I'm a big Georgia fan and had a chance to watch this kid play. Hes quick, can scramble out of harms way, has a very strong arm, and seems pretty accurate throwing on the run. Look up his stats for 2005, he put up some really nice numbers. And not to mention, the only games UGA lost this year, was when he was out with an ankle injury. Did anyone catch the UGA/LSU game this year? If you watched it you will see how much potential this kid has.... JMO
Robinson I would love Robinson in a late round, he isn't quite as fast as Randle El, but would definately bring playmaking capabilities to our O. Also, i think if he put on 5-10 pounds or so he wouldn't make a bad reserve RB in a couple of years. Watching him all year, he showed great instinct and power while running.
I like that too, but Brad Smith or Reggie McNeal are both alot faster than Robinson. Why aren't these guys on the list?
The obvious answer is Olson. Shockley has never impressed me much, and for most of this year couldn't hit the ocean with a pebble standing on a pier. Robinson only gains favor because he's agreeable to switching positions, but even then 5th round may be too high. Finally, I wouldn't touch Vick with a 10 foot pole.
Olson has skills, I think hes the best QB of that group, but Robinson is best athlete and could be a WR/DB

He also has 7 career rushing TDs and ran for 4 of them in 2005. He accounted for 25 total scores last season. Thats pretty good production, and missed 3 games, I believe? The games he missed last season were the only games UGA lost.
Both Shockley and Robinson are fantastic athletes. Vick will be a wasted pick if anyone is stupid enough to take him. Out of teh 4 on this list, he'd make teh best QB based upon talent, but his head isnt screwed on right. If the Jets take Cutler (which I am really believing is going to happen), then I would say Robinson. If they don't take a QB earlym then definitely Olsen. I think he'll make a good enough NFL QB.
