I think Tangini is out if 2008 looks anything like 2007. It's a pity, because I think we're headed there.

Bradway wasn't that bad of a GM at all. He wasn't very good, but he wasn't very bad either. He was mediocre.

I think we'll be a playoff team again in 2008 so obviously they will not lose their jobs. The D is coming along nicely, the biggesrt problem we have is on the OL. We have cap room and premium draft picks. We should be able to upgrade the OL and w/ that we'll see improved QB play. All we have to do is look at the NFC Title Game to see how quickly things change.

It's the NFL boys..Not For Long..in anything . You go from sorry to good (GB)..good to bad (Bears,Ravens,Jets) in a heartbeat..The defense is going to be very good next year, get some help on the O line and a burner at receiver with our above average running back tandem and a little patience with Clemens and we can flip this thing quickly..Its how the NFL was designed, so teams can "flip the switch" quickly..either way. I have a lot of faith in Eric and Mike and the fact that they will get the job done the right way.

I have faith in their draft strategy. We should have 3 pro bowlers in Harris Revis and Mangold. I think if we were a playoff team getting national recognition we would have a pro bowler this year.

April is a very positive time for the Jets under this regime.

I'm not an advocate of running them out of town, but with all of the proven head coaches still out on the market makes me wonder why not go out and get one.

In a way, I am rooting for a complete collapse in 2008. It's sort of like watching the Knicks under Isiah Thomas--you know the team is going nowhere fast so you hope they go so far south and fast that ownership makes some drastic changes fast! So they can fix all the mistakes you see happening but can't fix.

It reminds me of when Herm Edwards recovered The Fumble against the Giants... They were bad! Ownership HAD to make drasic changes. And that team improved (while my beloved Jets got stuck in the Mud Bowl)...

A few years later, the Giants won the Super Bowl!

So when do the Jets hit rock bottom, come back from the dead and win a Super Bowl?

We had 1 bad year, ONE! Those Giants would extend their non playoff sgtreak to 18 straight years and those few years later you speak were actually 8 years. The Herm play happened in '78, they won a SB in 1986.

The way this team drafts and how they handle the Qb situation will be the deciding factor on their stay in Ny past 2008. Luckily their drafts have been pretty good even though I disagree with trading away our whole draft for two players in Revis and Harris. With that said at the end of the day both players seem to be really good. Either way this thing could get ugly if they don't fix the o-line and settle the Qb mess once and for all.
