He got pressure on the QB 3 times so far in the 1st quarter and stopped them on a 3rd down in the red zone.

No. I'm just able to see that his best attributes are as a hand down pass rusher not a stand up guy which is what he'd have to be for the jets.

But if he hasnt been impressive so far, then how are those his best attributes? Let alone the fact that you havent even seen him play standing up.

I have to agree with mcmagic - there hasn't ever been anyone to successfully convert from a 3 point end rusher to a 3-4 OLB stand up rusher. You guys are just trying to fit a square peg into a round hole again.

Yea lets draft a defensive project no 6 overall when you have an EMBARRASSING offense.

If Jake Long is there they should take him. If he's not trade down.

STL or KC will take him in all likelihood and its not easy to trade down because there arent people always willing to give up a bundle of picks.

When you go 4-12, you don't get to have your own type of players.

How about some "good" players? Is that so fucking strange a concept?

at the moment, Gholston is actually a better fit than Long. Long is undersized for a 3-4 DE.

RT. You're the one who thinks that Jake Long is an undersized 3-4 end so i'd stop telling others not to talk if i was you.

Will Gholston be converted to a LB like Brian Thomas?
