1986 Divisional game Playoff game on now

    Hey guys i know we lost this game but ESPN2 is playing the 1986 AFC Divisional game right now. This is one of my first memories of watching the jets. I messed up on that title btw lolol woopsssss

    One of my darkest memories as a Jets fan...

    We had a lot of injuries in 2005, but 1986 may have been worse. The team was gutted.

    I was on my honeymoon in Hawaii during that game. It started at 7:30 AM in Hawaii and of course seemed to never end. I remember I kept putting off my wife who wanted to go out. I also remember that all we seemed to do in OT was run three time then punt.

    F%@* ESPN. Like this season wasn't bad enough, maybe they'll play all of our most heart-crushing losses daily this offseason.

    If you remember, ESPN actually made a clip about all the bonehead draft choices we have had over the years.

    If anyone caught it, SB III was on NFL Network today. I got home from school and caught the ending. No real celebration once the game ended from what I saw.

    as an 18 year old jet fan i send out my apologies to all the older jet fans. i see how much misery this franchise ahs put me threw i can only imagine the pain you feel

    Yeah! I was taking some clients out for drinks last night and the bar we went to was playing it. I've NEVER seen that except the NFL Films clip of Namath running off in slow motion with the finger raised. (Actually, I DID see it when I was 4 years old! That's why I'm still a fan!! Natch!)

    But the bar switched the game at the last moment! Damn!!! (Pardon my french).

    What WASA interesting was that the Jets really dominated. I never realized that from the stories and photos. Is anyone from that OL still available? ;)

    Seriously, when are they playing it again?
