Our official site is embarassing, we all need to go there and let them know how bad it is. The Jets' site is by far the worst in the league. If there's already a campaign to improve it let me know, I'd like to be involved. Otherwise, let's start something.
It'd be cool if this could be the official site. Remember what Snyder did with that Redskins fansite? The guy made over a million for it.
In my message to them I mentioned that most unofficial Jets sites are of a higher quality than the official one.
That is true. But you'd think a team that claims to represent New York City would want a NYC calibre website. There are souvenire shops in times square with better websites than the Jets have.
"F em" I haven't even looked at the "offical" site in a LONG time. Last time I checked it was a Piece of _______ same info (actuallt better) on independent fansites with less whitewash. :drunk:
the best thing about the current website is the "Jets In The News" I love it, and no other team-sites have it
They updated it not too long ago, and they made it worse, IMO. Let's hope the people making it aren't in Junior High, this time.
I've got to testify. The web site is horrid. They post updates a day or more after everyone else. I know the new leadership want to keep things a secret. But, they can't stop the players agent from putting news out, agents love to put out info on their client. The media is going to post the news anyway. Nothing active for fans to want to visit. They are selling jersey's of players that are no longer on the team. Instead of giving them to charity. It's just there with no good reason behind it.
Compare the layouts and graphics of the 2 sites....JI is such an eysore, it is awkward to navigate, and is poorly layed out...
From what I understand, that was just a rumor which was denied by both parties. It's hard to know what really happened, but that price is absurd. Snyder could've easily made his own site for nothing and have gotton a zillion registrations just due to the fact that it's accessible from the Redskin's website.
ANd also, if you all feel this way I encourage you to go there and leave them feedback, there's aCONTACT option at the bottom of the main page where you can leave a message and direct it to a certain pert of the organization....
Sorry guys - I like the site. It's not cluttered and has good easy to use/access secondary links. Many of these sites have far too much info and clutter on the 1st page.
I heard it from someone in the organization. They sent a letter to season ticket holders previously saying they were going to do it, I just got the info on the timing.
