I read a rumor on CNNSI (I know not the best). Here's the best I can do right now. However, it seems like he wants to play closer to his home state Texas.

...may have had something to do with a certain previous regime's refusal to sit over-the-hill vets in favor of promising young talent. j/s

Mike Furrey would be an excellent acquisition and would fit our needs well, but is he even available? I seem to recall him signing a long-term deal last offseason, and i would think Detroit would take a cap-hit by cutting him.

    here's a thought (fantasy)

Moss is a free agent after the season in NE....
Jets keep Pennington and sign Moss..so they are once again reunited as in College! Pennington, Moss, Coles, Cotchery...and our #1 pick,,,
    McFadden!

That is some offense...(of course we need to upgrade OL)

I agree with this. I like Coles and Cotchery a lot, but they have average wide receiver speed and you are right I do not think they scare anybody in terms of Yards After the Catch. They do have good hands though and that does count for a lot. Plus, Coles has no fear.

I do think we need a true #1 to make Coles and Cotch even better than they are now.

Yeah I heard too. How about Vilma and a 2nd day pick for Williams. Detroit runs the Tampa 4-3 and Vilma would be a great fit a MLB.
