Those who think we just need to be tweaked next year may be disappointed. We got a TON of things to address this off season: 1. What to do with Chad, Coles, Drob, Vilma, Thomas and Graham--none are good fits for this team and or scheme, and the jets would pay a cap price to move them thanks to stupid contracts already in place. 2. Do we use our first day picks on DL, OL or WR? All three are COMPELLING needs. Don't tell me WR is not a need area because Brad Smith is not a WR. Do we take McFadden if available? Do we move Thomas Jones if we take McFadden? 3. Does Sutton stay? Does Schott stay? 4. What do do with Barton? Barrett? Hobson? 5. Why can't we make a splash in free agency just once? I don't consider Chatham or Kassell much of a splash. 6. Why does Terry Bradway still have a job with this team? 7. Are we gonna waste another really high pick on a DRob or DBrick?
1. Try to trade Chad, Coles, Vilma....move Thomas to the other side (like last year), and what's wrong with graham? 2. If we can't get McFadden or Jake Long, draft Ghoulston. Hopefully we can get some more picks to fill our many other needs. 3. Keep em both, I don't blame them for this season we just don't have the right players yet. 4. Keep Barton in the middle with Harris, apparently they get along. Dump Hobson. Not sure what to do with Barret, I love Revis but I'm not sold on our other DBs. 5. I agree, I want to sign a veteran O-lineman to complement our young linemen. 6. Honestly don't know who that is. 7. I don't think so. I'm happy with the way our draft's have been going in the Mangini era. D'Brick might be disappointing so far, but he was the right pick and I still have faith that he will develop more.
1) Chad should be gone. Coles, IF we can get value for him, same with Vilma. Thomas prolly stays, GRahams gone. Don't forget J Mac. The Jets should auction off the right to fire that d bag to one lucky fan and give the money to charity. I'd pay top dollar for that one. 2) This depends entirely on where we end up witht he draft, and what offers, if any we get for the pick. I say go BPA, with some consideration of need, but DO NOT REACH. 3) Both should be gone. At a minimum I can almost guarantee Sutton is. 4) Gone, gone and gone. Cut em all. 5) We should this time. We have too many holes to fill for the draftg alone. Plus this alleviates any need to draft by need instead of talent (see d brick) 6) He has pictures of Woody Dressed like tinkerbell at a Villiage People concert. 7 Man I hope not. No more reaches.
1.) Trade Pennington and Coles to the same team and try and get some picks. Ben Graham should be released. Robertson should stay on the team. He isn't a starter, but we could use him in the rotation. I would shop Vilma around and see if we can get a team to cough up a first rounder. If not, just keep him and give him one more chance beside Harris. 2.) We honestly need to take BPA with all of our first day picks. I personally don't think McFadden will be available to the Jets when they are on the clock. We will probably wind up picking 6th or 7th. 3.) Sutton should go. Our defense is VERY CLOSE to becoming a good to great defense. We need a good coordinator and a pass rusher. Schott should stay. Our offensive line has been to bad to make him a scape goat. 4.) Barton will probably be cut, Barrett should stay, and Hobson will probably not be resigned. 5.) I agree, we don't have to go nuts in free agency, but it would be nice to add a player to the offense and defense that will start every game and hopefully make impact plays. 6.) Terry Bradway is not as bad a many of you make him out to be. He was horrible with resigning players as GM, but the guy is a great draft guy and is nice to have around. In the end, he is not the person who makes any decisions, he is simply there to assist Tannenbaum. He should stay. 7.) I hope not. I will say this though. As much as D'brick has disspointed all of us this season, just remember...he has NOBODY playing LG next to him and that is NOT easy for a LT.
1 Kick all of them to the curb for as many picks as possible. 2 This should be the jets order of need: Mcfadden>WR>OL>OL>OL 3 Fire both 4 Keep barton and barrett trade hobson 5 Becuase our GM is an incompetent accountant and our owner is a tightwad. 6 He's not the problem 7 probably
