The Kendall Disaster -- which I have to believe Mangini & Tannenbaum expected, I think they deliberately tanked this season -- was expected.

The regression of D'Brick's game and the lack of anybody else besides Mangold making an impact were not.

Thoughts ? No good guards outside of Fanacea in FA.

Jets are gonna suck for a long time. Nothing to build upon on this team. No QB of the future. Terrible Lines. Revis, Harris, and Rhodes are the only bright spots on this team, but they will get worn out and be old by the time we finally compete.

Cotchery, Washington, and Mangold are also bright spots.

He has enough struggles at his true position at LT, he will have even more trouble adapting

Take another guard in that top 5? ughhh, it really might be need though. It's not often you get the oppurtunity to pick this high, but for the jets, looks like they'll have to waste it again on the non-glamour pick.

Does it really matter who the Jets take in the draft. They need so much that they need a couple of drafts. And as long as Brady and Bill are with New England the Jets arent winning a thing

Nothing new said here from what has been super obvious all year. I do not think Kendall was the missing link as far as success this year. We may have been a bit better but very far from dominate. So we might have been 6-9 instead of 3-12; what's the big deal. We would have still faced all the same issues this off-season as last year, but this year it is about as obvious as it gets therefore much less likely to be over-looked.

The offensive line must be the #1 priority this off-season. We need that before we can do anything else.

That is the last thing that I want to do but after watching the game tonight it is probably the smartest move we can make...their O line is dog shit....true story

    Cotchery is good.
    Mangold is solid.
Washington is not an every down player

We're going to have to be completely overhauled this season.

Really hope we sign Andrews for RT and draft a G like Schuening. A big, nasty type or something.

the Jets are far from winning a Super Bowl, so that is irrelevant. but that doesn't mean the Jets shouldn't even try to ever be a good team, which your post inherently implies -- that if they can't beat the Pats what's the point?

is it truly your argument that if the Jets can't beat the Pats there is no difference between winning ten games or 3?

    that's an idea.

they let kendall go over a million, yet he would have been still 300k LESS than mc catchless if he was still here. the regression of brick and the hole at left guard was the biggest difference between this year's offense and last year's.

Sure, letting Pete K. go was stupid, but these guys on the line don't show up. I mean, they act like turnstiles for 60 minutes of football, let the QB's get crushed and collect their pay checks. Scrap this O line. Walk-ins Welcome! Anyone off the street can't do any worse.

You know after today.............I worry about Kurt. Kurt has always made the best comments and voiced his opinions of our O-Line, hopefully he didn't witness the carnage today.

I've been a Jet's fan for multiple decades and I've NEVER seen our O-Line suck so bad as today. Men against Boys is too nice to compare today's O-line vs Tenn Defense.

Our O-Line is in shambles for lack of depth for years of neglect and stubbon coaches/GM who think letting Kendall leave and relying on Moore/Clement/ Clarke.........who aren't even subs to start.

D-Brick isn't going unnoticed.........given up 19.5 sacks over the past 2 seasons. Joe Thomas is a stud compared to D-Brick!!!!

Joe Thomas is also playing next to an elite LG....D'Brick had an old Kendall and then the Human Turnstile, Adrian Clarke.
