He'll go somewhere safe for less value than most people think he is worth. Minnesota for a 5th rounder, maybe Kansas City.

Keeping him in New York would put Clemens and management in a very tough position as any setback would prompt immediate calls for Chad. Far better to have somebody else on the bench waiting to go. Preferably a mobile QB who can survive behind the Jet's line.

If they need a mobile QB maybe they can trade Penny for Bollinger?

What if the Jets win these next two games and the offense looks good doing it? Then I say stick with Pennington(8 weeks ago I felt different) and get more players around him that fit his style better.

I almost feel like I have to apoligize to Paul Hackett who seemed to figure out just how to use Pennington's strengths.

There is no way MN brings in Chad unless it's for back up money. They would be nuts to change course, waste draft picks and cap space and create a QB controversy when they have one of the best young QB's in the league. As a back up for cheap money maybe?

I have to agree with this. Seeing that kid play the other night pretty much sums up that MN is off the possible trade list. He won't want to go anywhere he isn't going to be a starter and they would be crazy to bench their guy now.

I wish him luck in his announcing career; hopefully Parcells provided the opening he needs. If not – he would definitely be an upgrade over Emmitt Smith.
