Not sure how bad it is, but it happened because Seymour annihilated him in the jets end zone and forced him to throw a pick that was returned for a touch down.
:rofl2: I think he'll be alright, x-rays were negative, but his rib was bruised well enough to have him sit out the rest of the game.
Something tells me if that exact same scenario had panned out with Ellis bringing down Brady, there would've been a roughing the passer penalty, an ejection, fines, and loss of draft picks.
Geez c'mon. Is the NFL responsible for the the fact that Adrien Clark couldn't block my grandma starting after being listed as doubtful all week with a strained hammy? The whining is epic!!!!
Who cares - draft a quarterback right after you fire Manretard. In todays NFL, It does not take more than five games to see if you have ANYTHING you can work with. CUT OUR LOSSES NOW.
we should have stuck with the Wishbone and Brad Smith. That pitch to Leon was the biggest gainer all day.
You are freakin out buddy, take a chill pill. We HAVE seen flashes from Kellen, but they have been limited due to the HORRENDOUS play from the offensive line. This is a BAD team and needs to become better before we can better evaluate him. I will give you an example of this very scenario. When the Chargers drafted Drew Brees, they were the worst team in the NFL that year and drafted him in the second Round. At first, Drew Brees was awful. So bad, that he almost lost his job there. (AKA Philip Rivers) The truth is, that Drew Brees didn't become a better QB until he had players around him. You are a frustrated Jets fan, just like all of us, but you know that they can't cut ties with Kellen this early on with a team like this around him. Just be patient bro.
^ Stick by your guns and I'll stick by mine...we'll see who's the dummy. Signed, The Guy who pointed out that Vick Blows after his third start.
kellen clemens should not have gotten hurt. he should run away instead of staying there getting hurt.
Actually, it was on his left shoulder...he kind of twisted around somehow as he was coming down. So that's a small piece of good news at least...whatever the injury is, it's to his non-throwing shoulder.
That's good news, where did you hear x-rays were negative? All I remember is Jim Nantz saying that Clemens was probable to return.
if he does not play it is ok because it is end of season anyway. he should be careful so he does not have worse injury.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3157551 "You have a running/quarterback that can do a lot of things, and Pennington manages the game very well," Patriots linebacker Junior Seau said. "It was definitely keeping us off balance on the defensive side, but for the most part we hung in there." Am I really seeing this? A patriots player speaking with humility? O well, at least we covered the spread.
