The 49ers are doing very poor this year and the locker room seems to have lost faith in Nolan. He was a brilliant 3-4 coordinator with the Ravens, a system which got a clear "4-3" linebacker, Ray Lewis, a Defensive MVP. Obviously, he had great personnel while in Baltimore, but if we can bring in Suggs or a top 5 draft pick to this defense, then he could definitely have similar success.

I'd like Nolan, because he's less likely to turn back into a HC right away, but I l'd like either one of the Ryan boys..

If he's fired sure but i dont think he is gonna be fired. It would really be nice to bring over somebody from that Ravens defensive coaching staff to work with Vilma and make him similar to ray lewis in that defense.Rhodes is already taking steps to be on ed reeds level.
