There is a report in Newsday that a Jets employee was asked to leave Gillette Stadium last season, possibly for videotaping their coaches. Is that an accurate report?
"What we do every away game is tape our team from both end zones, whenever it's possible. We always ask for permission to do that. Usually it's granted, provided there is a physical space to do that, it's to get the same angle you get in practice. Anybody that asks us to do it, we extend the same courtesy. It's pretty common, one way or the other, depending on how teams like to like at their game tape. That's really what it was."

In other words, you thought you had permission but perhaps you didn't?
    "No, we had permission."

And they still asked you to leave?
    "Yes, they did."

So this new thread, discussing a topic that was already merged after being started by another Panties fan is for what, exactly?

You know, I've been rooting for you guys to finally take the Phins' record down, but now I'm almost starting to hope they are the ones who beat your sorry asses.

I don't understand, as a Pats fan, why you followed this article with the smile?

Yeah...I don't understand that either. The Jets clearly had permission to be there, and other teams have let them do it. The Patriots and most likely the Boston media are trying to flip this around and make the Jets look like the bad guys, just so the Patriots 16-0 season and Superbowl victory doesn't have an asterisk next to it.

and it will have an asterisk next to it. I'm not saying they aren't one of the best teams ever, because they are, but they were caught cheating...so it's tainted.

i am not defending the patriots as cheaters, but i'm sure every team steals signs. nobody gives a hoot in baseball, so why is football any different. change your signs, and then all they gained turns into an advantage, for those being stolen from. a whole lot of bull is being brought up over the whole spy gate thing, with asteriks and such. if the patriots do go undefeated and win the superbowl, asterik or not they will go down in history as the greatest, "team season" in our era... maybe of all time... considering the era.

Please shut down this thread, since we have 10 of the same one's going around. Patsies are trying there best to act like there the victims and everyone is doing it syndrome. Don't worry, you guys got your slap on the wrist. Cheaters will win.
