Schoettenheimer needs to stop calling these lob plays, they work like one out of every ten times when you have a big receiver like Randy Moss, but Schot calls them WAY too much. The Jets offense does so much better when Coles and Cotch are just running routes, but it seems like every other play is a lob towards the sideline leaving Coles or Cotchery half exposed in the air with two guys covering them. This is why these guys are all beat up. I just don't understand the logic in throwing a lob to your TE on a 2-point conversion when that never works when the Jets call it. Never. They do it a lot, even since Pennington was the QB, but it never works!!!

Our midget receivers arn't even close to the ball.. Chalk it up to more idiocy on the coaching staff

That lob on the 2 point conversion really stank. A horrible call. When the Patriots have to do it - though rarely. They usually try to thread a bullit in over the muddle to crossing receivers, or I have seen the middle open up for them and Brady walks it in.

We really do suck this year; it is so embarrassing and humiliating.

They must not know how to call any other plays.

A ridiculous insult that actually seems to be true, at least near the goal line - all they call is Jones up the gut or a lob to the corner of the end zone. I think Schottenheimer has been exposed as a very poor OC, and should be the first one to go at the end of the season.

Well, okay, maybe Sutton should be first to go. What does it say when both of your coordinators are terrible? That's all on Mangini.

Never liked Sutton, he needs to go no matter what. Schott needs to be put on the hot seat and should be fighting for his job in these last 3 games...

Coaching staff has been in love with this call, and I don't understand it. It usually requires a perfect throw and a great catch to complete them, unless you have a guy like Moss who can just go up and get them from almost anybody.

the lob stinks but I think it's a result of having no faith in the pass protection.
