The number one goal as a young QB on a bad team is not to be a world beater.. He should be out there building confidence and learning the ropes..... When, in three games as a starter that you actually have a chance in, the WRs drop passes in critical situations each and every time, it does not do anything to help build you confidence... It's not an excuse, he hasn't played well... But going to him was absolutely the right move, as Chad was making the same mistakes, without an injury riddled WR corps and with 6+years as a starter under his belt.... If/when the WRs start to get healthy and actually hold onto the ball, Kellen should be able to build some confidence, and that's when the progression should start to really get going...
The team is 1 and 6 in starts by Pennington against teams with a combined record of 37 and 40. The team is 1 and 3 in starts by Clemens against teams with a combined record of 28-17. To say the team looks worse without Penny does not align with the facts...

BS, I was just sick of the shit being talked about him, some people made the shit personal, calling him garbage, etc, keep it on the field, don't make it personal. There is no doubt he played poorly and was it the right move for a franchise to bench a QB that has had some recent success (referring to previous years) amongst all the failure associated with this franchise? Only time will tell...
