we didnt beat the dolphins by much earlier this year 31-28 was not an overwhelming win, to think that the jets are that much better that it will be a closer game due to the top 2 receivers being out is crazy.

what might save us is that miami is coming off a very tough monday night game, and we have not played since turkey day

that is like a mini bye week

Wow, does anyone remember the point this season when WR was our deepest position? WTF?!

No OLine, poor running game, and now the primary targets will be JMac and B.Smith. Chad must be laughing his ass off at Kellen this week.

I'm going to be sick if we manage to lose to this Miami team.

If they both can't go, we are in some deep shit.

Mangini is always so hush hush about the injuries that you never really know how bad anyone is hurt. Does any body know what happened to Stucky? And why has he been out so long?

Quit worrying, we just signed the next Jerry Rice. Also too, the Phins will be starting their eighth string running back? We'll beat 'em.

I've got a sinking feeling that we lose this game...

    They put him on IR.

It was said he had a knee or leg injury from pre-season.

WR appeared to be relatively deep in pre-season, compared to other positions.

Coles, Cotch, McC, Wright, Smith, Stuckey and Frisbee were in camp.

They might have decided to put Chansi on IR with a less than season-ending injury because they were deep at WR, but wow, they sure could use him now!

3 TE sets! Hit em' with the big guys! Pociask, Baker and Ryan, with Kowalewski in the backfield at FB! Release them at random and overpower the fish!

    Yeah . . . This is bad.

We were thin at WR when Zach Thomas knocked Coles out last year at the end of the season. Concussions over 30 for WR means the end is near.

Absolutely. But as Jetcane pointed out, we had Coles, Cotchery, JMac, Wright, Smith, Stuckey and Frisbee to start the year.

We were deep coming in. Suddenly, we're as shallow at receiver as we are at corner.

It's pretty unbelievable that we're actually scared of Miami at this point. Nobody wants to be "that team", and we sure look like we're going on thin ice this weekend.

JMac and Brad Smith are back ups and Stuckey was on IR before the season started. We have two starting caliber WR on our roster to start the season and one is over thirty with multiple concussions.

Perhaps if this CS had a functioning brain and real foresight, they would have worked more on honing Smith's WR skills in TC, and not dick around with him trying to imitate a QB.

Perhaps if we had outstanding talent at QB and WR and decent line play we wouldn't have to dick around trying to fool teams to score.

U R prepared for all the flak U will get over this post because there are many on this board who believe we have world beating WRs & with CP a world beating QB so those are 2 needs that we do not need now
