Well if Mizzou beats Kansas..........And then Oklahoma beats Mizzou then Georgia may just slide in there

So if WVU wins out there is still a chance they won't play for a National Title?

No. If they win out, they're in...and they'll most likely play the winner of Kansas vs. Missouri.

If the BCS screws WVU and they don't let them play in the title, then something has to be rigged. Too many teams have been upset and everything has fallen into place for WVU.

If WVU wins out they'll be good. It's the other spot that's up for grabs. If the Mizzou-Kansas winner beats Oklahoma/Texas, they'll take the other spot. If not, it will probably be Ohio State because Mizzou would have two losses and Kansas' loss would be late in the season which usually hurts teams (see Michigan last year).

Then Kansas and Ohio State would both only have one loss, while Georgia has two, so I think one of the other two would get the edge.

BTW McFadden is what we need......He can be a TD scorer, a 3rd-4th WR and a returner.

Hes nothing like Reggie Bush if that is what you people are afraid of.

My lone fear is if D-Mac wins the heisman, since history has shown that a great majority of heisman winners end up having letdown NFL careers.

Yeah but momentum wise, Kansas would be knocked out of the top 5 I'd imagine unless they put up a damn good show with Mizzou, so much as an OT or near OT loss.

Or they could beat Mizzou and lose to Oklahoma and still have one loss.

BCS committee looks for momentum heading into the selection, so A loss in their final game of the year to OU would be devastating, causing them to move back 3-4 spots at the very worse.

If Kansas wins tomarrow, that means they will be a lock to a BCS game, probably taking the usual spot for ND(Had they been good this year) at an At-Large. They need to win out to make sure theyre in the national title game though.

I don't think Georgia would jump Ohio State. I think Georgia is going to have to root for:
-Kentucky to beat Tennessee so Georgia can play in the SEC title game
    -WVU to lose a game
-the Border War winner to lose the Big 12 title game

We absolutely definitely should draft McFadden if he is available when we are picking. It would be so stupid not to

I think we should draft McFadden for no other reason than to ensure that a dangerous weapon like that doesn't fall to the Patriots. Of all the top prospects at any position, he is the one I would least like to see lined up against us.

not to mention other prospects most likely available when the JETS pick will not suit their system (unless they switch back to a 4-3)

    * also did you see Tebow yesterday?!?!? looks like Heisman should be going to a sophomore

As one of the announcers said...Darren McFadden = Adrian Peterson only bigger. The kid has sick speed for a 225 lb. back.

This is so wrong on so many levels. I love his top end speed and home run threat ability, but that is about it. I don't think he has the vision or the tackle breaking ability that Peterson has, and the lack of superstar prospects in the top end of the first round is inflating Mcfadden's draft stock.

I don't know...he's more durable that Adrian Peterson, he can run through guys and beast his way over linebackers, and he's more of a breakaway threat than Adrian Peterson.

The difference between the two at the NFL level will be their offensive line -- Peterson plays against arguably the best o-line to RUN behind in the NFL. McFadden might not be so lucky.

I do not know if McFadden is as good as Peterson or not. Chances are probably not, as AP was on pace to break Eric Dickersons rookie record. That is once in a generation talent there. That is not excellent or elite that is HOF ability or top 2-3 ever. So comparing them is stupid, as DM has done nothing at the pro level as of yet. That being said:

If McFadden is great to elite (top 3-4 in league) then I would say pick him. The Jets obviously need talent. If you can get a high end talented player then go for it, this team has too. That is not a luxury, the Jets can stand to upgrade basically every position save a few. So passing on players, to fill glaring holes with lesser talented players is kind of asinine for this team, really any team. Despite the fact the lines need to be addressed pick him if he is that good.

So far this FO has drafted very well and hit way more then they have missed. Hopefully they can get some extra picks and have a successful draft because this team needs a drastic infusion of talent almost everywhere.

AP and DM has different running styles. I don't see the AP comparison to be valid at all. I think DM is a bigger version of Joseph Addai.
