Is it me or has Dwaybe Roobertson been kickin some ass lately, also David Harriss, who I believe is going to replace Vilma. Revis also gets like 100 tackles a game haha
D-Rob is making a case to stay here next year... now if he plays like this in both halves of the season and not just the 2nd, he'd be a pro-bowl NT. We still need a real run stuffer though. Revis and Harris will be the staples of the D for a long time, but dont forget about Rhodes.
The thing is that when D-Rob is matched one on one, he can dominate. Unfortunately, our coaching staff has decided to put him where he is constantly (other than in Nickel situations) getting double teamed.
Bingo! Robertson is as good as there is at beating a single offensive lineman and getting penetration. Just look at the way he abused Faneca against Pittsburgh, when they decided they were going to try to handle him with just one blocker all game.... Robertson, in a 4 man front, can be a very, very effective DT. His strength is beating single blocks, not occupying multiple blocks
DeWayne isnt terrible just not a 3-4 Nose tackle i think if we get a real 3-4 NT and use him at the end he'll be much better suited.
Exactly, yet still Mangini keeps sticking players in positions their bodies cant handle. I'm am really getting sick of Mangini's cocky and arrogant attitude. Things are not working, change them!
It seems like everyone knows this but Mangini and Sutton. Maybe we should get rid of them and Schotty too. There can't be no excuse for making such dumb decisions at the NFL level with all the competition you got.
Exactly... It's completely baffling the stubbornness this CS has shown when faced with adversity.... The NFL is a league that is very much about "survival of the fittest" If you do not adapt and change to fit your needs and strengths, you won't survive long... Mangini needs to discover this soon if he wants his days as a HC to last
HAH, you guys kill me. A typo is a typo (of which I'm always guilty), but how the HELL do you spell HARRIS wrong?!
