ANY THOUGHTS? DO YOU THINK THERE IS A CHANCE WE CAN GET HIM? WE ALL KNOW THE TITANS ARE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO AFFORD HIM NEXT YEAR. I THINK HE'D BE A BEAST. ADD HIM TO A POTENTIAL SUGGS SIGNING. MAYBE DANGELO HALL. (ok i know im getting ahead of myself) I just think we need to make some plays in free agency for our defense to improve our leadership. what do you think?

He's good but had discipline issues in the past.

    But more importantly, I don't think he's a 3-4 NT, is he?

true, i dont think they run the 3-4 in tennesee but it's worth a shot. he'll definitly beef up the line. and he adds size and a successfull career to a line that has niether

Strange how much harder he's trying during his contract year. Not that he hasn't shown flashes in the past, but never like this.

His success this year has to be because its a contract year. He's been a dud until now.

i think the average weight on our d line is 280 which is garbage for a 3-4 defense

He's not a 3-4 NT, but I believe he could play that role nicely, he is a dominant DT....

If we bottom out, and Mangini is shown the door, or if Mangini changes his stubborn ways and says we will run a 4-3, Haynesworth & Robertson as our two DTs would be incredible...

what about dangelo hall. i think the organization needs to stop bein pussy's and take a chance on some of these guys. The pats could have chalked moss up to "character issues" but then where would they be? I think Hall is a true shut down corner not like Andre "Why Son?" i just think we need to spend our entire offseason on defense. our offense can wait. with the offense we have now we can win games. it's our defense that's holding us back and I'm so sick of it. How many times have u watched a highlight from another team and that particular player is dragging two or three jets defenders. it's embarassing. WE USED TO BE THE NEW YORK SACK EXCHANGE fro crying out loud!!!!!!!!!!

Sure, sign Albert Haynesworth if you want a taller DeWayne Robertson trying to handle both A gaps.

We need a NT that is 340 at minimum. 360 would be more like it. And before anyone asks, I have no idea where you find someone like this.

I agree, he had been pretty quiet up until this year and was recently suspended I believe last year. So there is some risk of overall regression and another setback and suspension.

Ethan Kelley might be a nice pickup. He is a free agent, after the year, nose tackle from Cleveland. Place in the 3-4 and taught by big Ted Washington. He is 6-2, 338, perfect for a 3-4 NT. Could be a low-risk high reward signing, like Kenyon Coleman

Vince Wilfork is only 325. You need someone that can play the NT, not some fat guy.

Vince Wilfork is at least 345. No way he is anywhere near 325.

NO! We only sign Character guys... Talent doesn't matter!

See: Kenyon Coleman, David Bowens, Darien Barnes, Matt Chatham, Brad Kassell

Great FA acquisitions by the regime.
