Woah missy.... Actually we're both realists. We realize that your thread added nothing in the way of content, and we realized that it belonged in another forum- a place where you might receive more meaningful responses. Do you always curse people out when things don't go your way in life?
This should be in the draft forum. Let's see what happens in Miami before we start speculating on who will have the first pick on 2008. The Dolphins are a terrible team.
the dolphins can beat the jets right now. i love it when people say things like "oh we should beat the dolphins, they are one of the worst teams in the nfl!". well, guess what... the phins fans are saying the same damn thing about the jets!
I don't disagree with this. My beef was with a pointless thread that was more about being on a soap box and spouting off than actual football discussion. If there had been any substance on why we are going to pick #1 then I would have happily read it and responded. This had nothing to offer but wasted space on the site.
Even though this thread may not have started off good; it is actually intriguing. We pretty much are guaranteed of a top 6 draft pick. I was looking at some of the Mock drafts. Seems to be a cross between Darren McFadden (RB), Chris Long (DE) - Howie's son, Jake Long (OT), and Calais Campbell (DE) being taken by the Jets. What is really scary is the 1st round pick that NE is going to get from the 49'ers is looking better all the time; NE may only draft a couple of spots below us, even after winning a Super Bowl (or going very deep into the playoffs).
The number one pick is going to us my freind. As much as i love my team i can't see us winning too many games. We will be lucky to win one this season and if Cam dosen't win a game which i think will happen he's going to get fired.
i hate to agree. not to be a pessimist, but i cannot see the jets winning more than 2 of their remaining games at best. our schedule is brutal from here on out. the jets-miami matchup will have major draft day implications.
Interesting that the Dolphins are sticking with Lemon instead of giving their rookie a shot. Sounds like they are playing for the number 1 pick now.
I have a feeling the Jets will have either the 3rd or 4th draft pick. Miami will be one and St. Louis #2. If I was a Miami fan I would want Cam's head on a pike. What the hell were they thinking last draft Ginn over a QB? It is like the Miami FO thinks it is some sort of sacrilage against Marino to draft a QB in the 1st round. They will trade for every aging/past his prime QB in the league rather than draft a QB in the 1st. I don't get it....Come to think of it...You guys interested in Pennington? I hear he's available?
They shouldn't. The Jets are in every game they have played...the Dolphins on the other hand are not...Jets are much better then the Dolphins at this point!
