He's not invisible, he's getting double-teamed all the time.

The LDE has both the RT and the RG or TE on him in most pass rushing situations.

The only way to fix that is to get a real rush out of your ROLB and the Jets ROLB has been invisible all season.

He still can't beat anyone one on one on passing situations. He's solid against the run but really isn't a good pass rusher and hasn't been a good pass rusher in a long long time.

The whole d-line deserves to be cut.

Absolutely, we have a career back-up and 2 guys that need to play on 4-3 defenses.

    NET YARDS RUSHING 296
    Total Rushing Plays 48
Average Gain per Rushing Play 6.2
    Tackled for a Loss (Number-Yards) 0-0

Story of the game, and many games this year. I think the reason our D looks serviceable early on is 1. no team feels like they have to get too risky to beat us, so they can be conservative and patient and not have to pay for it. 2. Other teams move the ball in chunks, with lots of run, which batters our weak-link front 7 and by the time midway through the 3rd quarter runs around, they're getting manhandled.

The D line stinks , simply ellis , robertson , coleman k ( is he invisible) and pouha absolutely fail to fill the gaps

There's also the working too hard in practice thing. Enough people have talked about the Jets running out of gas in the 4th quarter that I'm starting to believe it. Don't have numbers on that though.

Because they can't get off the field... They know Campbell can't pass they need to stack the line.. This is the most unprepared team I have ever seen. This cs doesn't have a clue anymore. I think they have lost the players.

Exactly. He's done nothing since Abe bounced.

Well, I just passed him on the NJ Turnpike and he was walking on the shoulder with a one gallon can in his hand.

Actually that's not true, he had 12 sacks in 2003 and 11 in 2004, I think that he just isn't the guy in the 3-4. It's time for Chris Long.

i'll say this about ellis......he'll be a great pick-up if he goes to a team with a 4-3. But you're right he sucks for us right now, we need big changes on the D-line.
