It was nice to finally see somebody on that defense hit someone... I only hope it will get the rest of the defense fired up...and if we are going to keep allowing all these easy catches we need to start making the receivers pay for them, too.
He takes on guards and makes it look light too, make no mistake dockery isnt a piece of shit guard...
The defense made the Bills line look bad. Hopefully they can do that this Sunday. Harris was flat out great this Sunday. I hope he can keep up that level of play. If he does maybe this was the element the interior portion of the D needed and not so much the NT. He also had a way of making Barton better. He is so much stouter at the point of attack than (I am not piling onto injured players)............ When he hits you, you know it. I really hope that attitude becomes infectious. Now if they can get a couple of guys (OLB) to bring up the level of pass rush the D might has a chance to become something special.
sometimes, unless you are talking about tom brady...they have a Mo Lewis day every year in New England
I'm really looking forward to watching #52 David "Hitman" Harris continue to knock people out, and see how much better the defense gets each week. Plus Clemens, this year finally got interesting.
Yea thats a good one. I also like what the other guy said.."DH" which are his initials and also happen to stand for "designated hitter". He can't lose with either one really.
The Designated Hitter! Oh man, you threw that in there as a footnote? The Designated Hitter is awesome! DH! DH! DH! Jackin' up running backs like Barry Bonds!! "...hand off to Maroney...breaks a tackle...BOOM! OH! The Designated Hitter goes yard on Laurence Maroney!!! What a play from the DH!"
Glad to see a thread like this about Harris. He deserves it. This guy is someone to get excited about.
As official adopter of David Harris,I declare that his name is David "The hit-man" Harris. It rolls off the tounge more than David "The designated hitter" Harris.
I'm really glad Harris has been on the field (even before Vilma's injury) and getting a chance to play. I have seen him get better each week in pass coverage. I personally like Barton along side him, but if we can get a true 3-4 ILB to go with Harris, I would be happy about that. Another thumper in the middle if you will. Maybe even a more natural blitzer to go with Harris' run stuffing skills.
very good thread about harris, i enjoyed reading it. anytime a rookie makes plays or good plays and maybe even great plays, shows the minimum level of his potential in the NFL, he can climb or get overwhelmed and fall, harris does not look like a player who will fall, not just saying that because he comes from michigan, it's because he's the HITMAN... haha
