Apparently he tore his knee playing basketball and just had knee surgery. I don't have a link so don't bug me about it but it is true.
That sucks. I know he has been riding a bunch of trotters as well. That boy better watch his noggin', would hate to see him all loopy before he turns 40...
I have nothing but fond memories of Wayne and will miss seeing him go accross the middle for yet another 3 down conversion for a first down. We were lucky to have him as long as we did. Happy Trails Wayne --- Thanks. Go Jets
Isn't it amazing nobody questions junc's link, nor will I. A quality poster earns that respect. Junc would never post bull. Junc, Chrebet wasn't thinking of coming back was he? It is a no brainer that he should just enjoy the rest of his life with his family. He would also likely do very well in opening a business in corporate motivation. I have never spoken to Wayne, but judging from how he played football, he must think a lot differently than other people.
Man I miss Wayne . I remember back in the day seeing him at Bogarts ..If you know what Bogarts is you know what I am talking about.. I am glad the guy still has the ability to dribble a basketball after all the fing hits. The guy is tough as nails..Would love to see him getting involed in the Jets organization...
