So, this is how bad it is in Sunshineland. Tired of filling the stadium eight Sundays a year with fans dressed as empty orange seats, the Pfinz are offering to pay celebrities to show up that their games. Create a "buzz" around the team, and so forth. Trouble is, the Beautiful People seem to be frightened that the current brand of stink wafting through Dolphin Stadium will stick to their expensive clothes.

    well two things here:

    1) the dolphins suck right now
    2) there are no dolphin fans in south florida - they're all over the country. SoFla is full of Bills/Jets/NE fans.

The Dolphins should be relocated, perhaps Toronto.

    i don't consider it fair-weather..... i consider it budgetary.

I still root for my phins, even at 0-7 (soon to be 0-8), but i don't want to pay several hundred bucks to watch them lose... I'll watch them lose from home with my several-hundred dollar DirectTV subscription.

That's very understandable. Personally I won't attend Jets games when they're this bad. For free? Sure. For half a grand? LOL.

How pathetic. I really hope that's not what we have been doing the past few years as they have shown more and more celebs at our games.
