He had 5 against Baltimore, not counting the drop by McCareins in the fourth, and the miss in the first, when he had McCallister beat deep. Everyone seems to look past that, but if a: Clemens isnt jacked up, and lofts it a tad, or b: McCariens isnt somehow plagued going around the CB(it looked to me like he got grabbed a bit...) thats 6.
The LONG BALL and ARM STRENGTH are two different issues. Chad can throw the ball long. He has for years. The playing calling has gone conservative to prevent him from getting hurt. The ARM Strength kills him on 15 yard passes where he just cant get the ball there fast. In TC, it was hard not to notice that he NEVER threw any pass hard even in warm ups. You could see the other 4 QBS there all zipped passes in on the side line and Chad did not (could not)
Are you retards trying to say that Chad has great pass protection to go deep 10 times a game? I agree, they should take shot downfield. But realistically, Clement was getting bullrushed on every play.
The ball was badly overthrown and the DB as in position to make the pick. Even if Coles keeps his feet, the best he can to is play defense on the pick.
Justin still dropped 2 passes that a WR HAS to make. the first one on the post route was routine, even is he was interfered with a little. I can't find any way to give him a pass on that one, I just can't. I'm not saying that at all. There was pressure on Chad from the right on every pass.
