I'm all for Chad sitting down, but for all of you that lay blame on our team's woes on Chad, you are all wrong! Our defense sucks. Because our defense sucks, tons of pressure is being placed on our QB, every game. There's all this talk about Chad pressing. Of course he is. Who wouldn't be, when the defense gives up points, which disallows any kind of run game. Yes, Chad should sit, because maybe the D will wake up and feel some guilt for Chad's situation. I'm not saying Chad's entirely beyond blame, but Chad has become a scapegoat for crappy defense and horrible coaching.
You guys are so ridiculous, Chad played an excellent game. we lost this game b/c AGAIN the D couldn't hold a double digit lead in the 2nd half.
Yes, it could. The only thing that KC offers is potential. Yes he could get better and Chad won't significantly. But he may not. He obviously isn't better right now and you play your best players. Chad reached his peak today? Maybe. His peak was more than enough to win with any other team in the league except maybe Atlanta.
Not to mention the great running game we have to salt games away when we do get a lead in the second half. People need to realize the only offense we have is the passing game. Damn right there is pressure on the QB, he is the only one giving us a chance to win. Screw the shotgun in the second half and put in a full back, te or 2 and run the damn ball. I think they will sit Penny, which is fine since he is still healthy this season. I think he will get a chance to start next year for another team and I think he will be great.
