Jets should never trade picks to move up again Tannenbaum (and Bradway) before him, cash in the hard-earned draft picks that losing brings to move the odds in their favor of getting their selections right. What Tannenbaum did this year giving away three picks in the draft on a team with so many holes is grounds for firing. Do your research! Find the Pro Bowler in the lower half of the first round, in the second, in the 7th round and use the picks you have. Tannebaum deserves no kudos for selecting either Ferguson or Mangold. Ferguson was slotted at #4 and talking him was no great insight. Mangold was the #1 rated center in the draft by everyone in the universe and the Jets had just driven their Hall of Fame center off the team...they're just lucky he was still there. Time for this fat bastad to either earn his way with astute picks or get the f--k out.
I'm not qualified, I work in advertising. Neither is an accountant apparently. How about a football man for the job of picking football players?
God damn it, Gump! You're a god damn genius! This is the most outstanding answer I have ever heard. You must have a goddamn I.Q. of 160. You are goddamn gifted, Private Gump.
Do me two favors 1) Tell which ad agency what you work for so I dont apply there this summer 2) Never start another thread on Sunday following a loss ( for everyones sake) thanks
Seriously you believe minus Revis and Harris, some third and fourth round prospects would be turning around this team?????
We should seriously petition Tannenbaum to trade down this year. I mean its not like we're asking him to draft anyone in particular, its just a request to obtain more players.
