Leinart is known to not have the strongest arm. I wouldn't call it week but it is not a Brett Favre type arm. All reports have Chad ready to go at the beginning of training camp. The Jets obviously had enough faith in Bollinger to play him most of the games last year and have him fill in in the beginning of the season when we still had a chance.
Can't get more famous than playing in the biggest city of them all. He already said he wants to be a Jet.
The only gut I ever saw eat RUNYAN'S lunch was STRAHAN and STRAHAN does that to alot of Offensive Tackles.
4 pages on a great RT that we MIGHT get? Im getting really nervous here, any word on what is going on with Runyan and how the meeting went?
Because even though Runyan's older, he's still a better player? More goes into it than just how old the guy is.
Why do you think he "wants" to play here in the first place. He knows our QB situation is muddy, and he's a touted QB, he wants to come to the biggest media city of all in the NFL (and yeah, the world). He just likes/wants the attention. When it actually comes to love of the game and passion, Vince Young has him by a mile (and dont take that as im endorsing young in any way whats so ever)
Jets phanatic they meet last night at some restuarnt on long island and we their for a couple hours. On the web site i read said the jets are working really hard to get this guy signed. the other team that is looking at him the the ravens. and they dont really even need a RT
They're going to have to pay Runyan big money if they really want him. At this point, it seems like a no brainer. The Jets have a lot of money to spend with the 8 mil plus that the Abe deal freed up, and Runyan clearly is looking for his last big contract to finish out his career. Tangini has done a good job so far, and this signing would be a huge step towards preparing for the draft.
Stay at four and draft Cutler. Then draft the best available cornerback with 29. At 35, draft a big nose tackle like Gabe Watson.
